Position Description:
The role of the Disaster Recovery Engineer is to undertake & enact
disaster recovery solutions for affected customers.
This inculdes documenting, disasembling, decontaminating,
reassembling & testing affected equipment as required on
various projects. In addition the DR Engineer maybe required to
assist IRS customers with preventitive maintenance
and resolving warranty claims should they arrise. DR Engineer
position requires some a friendly personnality and the ability
to work as part of a team to produce the best results for the
company and its customers.
Key Duties:
Undertake disassembly, documentation and reassembly of technical
equipment as per our quality procedures.
Assist with recommissioning and testing of equipment.
Assist customers with preventive maintenance as part of warranty.
Assist to solve technical issues as part of warranty support.
Work with operations team to achieve decontamintion solutions in
very time critical environments
Supervise unskilled & semi skilled labour as part of disaster
recovery solutions.
